     Senior Photo Makeups

Senior photo makeups are scheduled for Friday, February 26, 2021.

Due to COVID-19 Strawbridge Students has had to make some changes for this year, and will not be providing the traditional tux and drapes or cap and gowns. To be able to continue with a formal senior picture theme in our yearbook, seniors are to wear the following for picture day: Boys wear dress shirt and tie; Girls wear dark blouse, sweater or dress. Also, there will be no order forms. You will need to provide a parent or guardian email when reporting for your photograph and proofs will be emailed to parents about 4 to 6 weeks after picture day. Parents will get a link to the proofs and be able to order at that time. Phone numbers for Strawbridge Studios are (800)326-9080 or (866)624-6229.

     Senior Cap and Gown Orders

Seniors can now order their caps and gowns and other graduation items including graduation announcements online at balfour.com. Although the cap, gown, and tassel will be shipped to our school and distributed at a time to be announced, all other items ordered will be shipped directly to your home addresses.

The price for the keeper cap, gown, and tassel is $21.00 plus tax. When ordering your cap and gown, be prepared to provide your height, weight, and gender. Regarding your height, you should take into consideration the type of shoe/heel you intend to wear at graduation. For example, if your heel is 2 inches, add 2 inches to your normal height. Your weight should be approximate, and your gender will determine the color cap and gown ( female is white and male is maroon). All caps have an elastic inside band so one size fits all. This is a keeper cap, gown, and tassel, so it is not to be returned.

To order your cap, gown and tassel go to: https://www.balfour.com/shop/cap-gown-a0068455a0000?smi=64442

Or follow these step by step directions:

Go to balfour.com, and select “shop my school” and search for Lehighton High School. From there scroll down to “Gradpacks/Caps and Gowns”. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “shop now”. Select the Cap, Gown and Tassel Option. Enter student information and proceed with your order. Before checkout, please be sure to confirm that Lehighton Area High School is your school selected.

The deadline to order cap, gown and tassel is February 1st. Any student interested in participating in the graduation ceremony will be required to have a LAHS cap and gown.

Please order soon, and be safe.

     Yearbook Orders

The Balfour yearbook store is now up and running. Unlike in past years, there will not be a document mailed home to families. This year, students who are part of the hybrid learning model will be given yearbook order forms directly from their homeroom teachers shortly after students return to the high school. In addition to the order forms being sent home with students there will also be an email sent to all parents and students with a flyer that can be used for ordering. You will have the option to mail in an order or to order online. Thank you for supporting the high school yearbook. If you have any questions please reach out to Miss Smurthwaite (vsmurthwaite@lehighton.org) at the high school.
