Leaving Without Permission:
Per page 7 of the student handbook: Administration and staff will be reinforcing the below rule--any student caught will receive zeros for any missed work.
Any student who uses their own communication device (cell phone, etc.) to arrange their own transportation home or signs out of school without prior approval from the school nurse or administration shall be issued unlawful/unexcused absence minutes for any missing time.
Cap & Gown Order Link:
The link is now set up for seniors to order their cap & gown. It can be found on our website under LAHS News. The website is https://www.buildagrad.com/lahs or you can click on the link.
*Other news, in the last senior meeting, raffle tickets were passed out. The raffle tickets and money are due back to Mrs. Hartney by February 21st. The raffle will take place on February 22nd for cash prizes.
*Any student who still owes beef stick money needs to have that in ASAP.
*. All dues are due on February 28th, 2023. Please check with Mrs. Hartney on how much you owe. Remember, if you sold beef sticks or raffle tickets your dues may be lower. Check with Mrs. Hartney ASAP.
*Senior Outing paperwork will be coming out the beginning of March, no paperwork may be handed in until dues are paid. We will be attending Camelback Resort on May 12th, 2023.
*Prom tickets will be sold starting March 20th to March 27th after school in the foyer. Tickets may be bought from any Junior or Senior Lehighton Area Student who has paid their dues. Prom will be held on May 5th, 2023 at Hotel Bethlehem from 5-10PM.
GUESTS ATTENDING PROM
1). Guest must be 9th grade or higher
2). MAXIMUM guest age will be age 20
3). LAHS students will be expected to have a guest form submitted with a copy of a picture ID included for their guest
4). LAHS students are limited to one guest only
5). Guest forms will be available on Lehighton Area Website
ADDITIONAL PROM INFORMATION
1). Tickets are non refundable/non transferrable (no exceptions)
2). Tables seat 10, seating is chosen by purchaser when ticket is purchased,
there is no saving tables
3). Tickets must be purchased in person

The 2022/23 Yearbooks are now on sale! Yearbooks will only be sold online. You can go to balfour.com and search for our school or find the QR code on one of the posters around the school to take you to the link. Yearbooks are $90 and will be a summer delivery.
Senior Ads will also be available to purchase at this time, using the same link. Families of our graduating class can purchase and create an ad for $50 for a quarter page, $100 for a half page and $150 for a full page.
