NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING THE LAST TWO (2) WEEKS OF DECEMBER.
ONLY GUARANTEED FUNDS (CASHIER CHECK, CERTIFIED CHECK, MONEY ORDER & CASH) WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER IN CASE OF AN ERROR.
CHECKS WILL BE PROCESSED UPON RECEIPT. Checks that are post-dated will NOT be held.
Credit cards and partial payments are NOT accepted.
Payments MUST be received or have a USPS postmark by due date. Any incorrect amounts or late postmarks will be returned to the sender.
POSTAGE METER DATES are not valid proof of mailing and will not be accepted as proof of mailing.
Failure to receive tax bill does not entitle owner to discount or waiver of penalty of taxes.
Please inform the tax collector of any address changes.
If you no longer reside in the Borough/Township located on the mailing address of the bill, please notify the Tax Collector with proof of new residence.
After December 31st. Liens will be filed on all unpaid taxes.
